Seven updates and 10 patches, something's gotta give

Microsoft issued another huge list of updates for this month's Patch Tuesday -- and included more in the update than was listed in the pre-patch warning notice. It is great that Microsoft is being so proactive, but it is also time that Microsoft and other software vendors take some of that enormous security brainpower and help their IT customers get off the patch/test/patch treadmill. There has got to be an easier way for an enterprise to protect itself than patching software.

I installed the XP patches today and now my office computer is in continuous reboot mode...even in Safe Mode. Have not installed SP3.
